Mars Phase One and Phase Two: Birth/Emergence and the Libra Challenges
Teleclasses June 7, 2014 to February 15, 2015: On April 8, 2014, Mars rose in the eastern sky in Libra, signaling the beginning of a new synodic
cycle.
This event occurs about every 25-26 months (or 779 days) on average. The Libra God has awakened and set his intent for the next 2 years, embarking on a journey to discover new ways of exploring the Libra Mystery School and non-hierarchical conscious, equal partnership. “What is the nature of how I relate to the Other?” and “What is the nature of a healthy pair-bond?” Over these 2years, Daniel and Erik will explore in-depth the meaning of this Mars cycle in Libra and how these questions are only the tip of some of the deepest mysteries for both men and women.
The Mars Synodic Cycle is an Initiation Cycle and those that sign up for this class will be given the tools to fully participate in this 2+ year cycle. Daniel and Erik will take on the true significance of a “Mars Return Cycle” that occurs every 15-17 years (Mars coming back to the same place as a person’s birthday), break down the 6 phases of the Mars Initiation and uncover ways to integrate Mars experientially and ceremonially.

In the 5th installment of this teleclass series, we will be exploring Mars’ journey into the constellations of the Goat-Fish and Water-Bearer and the signs of Aquarius and Pisces. Mars is still very prominent in the evening sky and will be visibly conjuncting the Moon in late December and late January for the 7th and 8th labors on this Mars Quest for the meaning of conscious, equal partnership.

First Tele-class: Saturday, June 7, 2014 – 5:30 pm Pacific time
In this first teleclass, Daniel and Erik will provide a short overview of the series and what to expect in the classes between now and Febraury, 2015 
before Mars disappears in the glare of the Sun (considered the underworld phase). In addition, they will also go into the nature of “Phase One” of the Mars Initiation cycle, the Libra Birth and Emergence. This phase, commencing with the Acronychal Rise (when one planet rises as the Sun sets), includes the birth, youthful education, and the onset of puberty of the new “god” LIBRA. It concludes with something similar to a strategy council or a specific period of training before embarking on the intended quest.

Second Tele-class: Wednesday, July 2, 2014 – 5:30 pm Pacific time
In this second teleclass, Daniel and Erik will cover the PHASE TWO of the Mars Initiation Cycle called the “Labors of Mars”. The focus will be primarily on Labors #1 on July 5th and #2 on August 3rd. During this phase are found the late teenage and young adult challenges. Each labor carries the “god” Libra to a new place of additional knowledge and greater experience. This phase describes how the new expression of Libra can rise to meet the challenges. There can be 7 to 10 conjunctions of the Moon with Mars during this phase that illuminate this journey of Mars as it travels across the evening sky from east to west. The constellations and signs he passes through articulate the nature of the challenges encountered.
This class and all future classes are part of the 6-part series. Only the first teleclass on June 6th can be purchased individually.

5:30 pm Pacific Time – On April 8, 2014, a new synodic cycle of Mars began. Over an average of 26 months, Mars goes through every phase of his unique planetary cycle. Each time Mars begins a new cycle there is a specific archetype of the masculine principle that is being emphasized. In April 2014, the focus for the universal animus and the sacred masculine in both men and women, shifted to Libra. In this class Daniel and Cayelin explored the unique synodic cycle of Mars and its importance in the individual chart, as well as the global and cultural implications. This inquiry included looking at how the sign of Libra is contributing to the sacred masculine at the Turning of the Ages?
