Venus 28 Libra to 2 Scorpio
Seen in the evening sky around 30 degrees above the horizon after Sunset. Venus will be between the second and third gates having risen as Evening Star in mid-July. Venus enters Scorpio on Friday the September 23.
Mars 26 Sagittarius to 29 Sagittarius
Mars will be at Galactic Center as part of the second labor of Phase two his Sagittarian quest. Mars will be easily seen in the evening sky about 90 degrees above the horizon after sunset. Mars will also be significantly “out-of-bounds” during our even, with its greatest declination South of the ecliptic on September 23 at 25.9 South declination. Mars is out-of-bounds from August 9 through the end of October!
Jupiter 2 Libra 35 to 3 Libra 30
Jupiter is in the Underworld so is not visible. Jupiter conjuncts the Sun on Sunday September 25.
Saturn 11 Sagittarius 00 to 11 Sagittarius 14
Saturn will be easily seen in the evening sky after Sunset about 70-75 degrees above the horizon.
Moon
The Moon will have just entered Gemini prior to our start, and will exit Cancer as we end the intensive. A MAJOR FEATURE of this time period will be the Moon inside the Sacred Hoop and conjunct the Galactic Edge exactly at 1:33 am on Friday morning September 23. Interestingly, the Last Quarter Moon will occur soon after, at 2:56 am that morning, at 00 Cancer 48. The Last Quarter Moon is inside the hoop and passing the Galactic Edge as an additional morning sky treat! It will be great to sit in the hot springs to enjoy this. The Moon will be near the Pleiades as we begin the intensive and exiting the hoop passing Castor and Pollux as we complete.
Sun and Equinox
The exact Fall Equinox is 7:22 am on Thursday, September 22, as the Sun moves into Libra, on our first morning together. We will ceremonially witness this as the closest Equinox Sunrise. We will actually get 2 chances for the closest Sunset, either our first evening together on September 21 or the following evening.
Overall, a great opportunity to experience and explore the Living Wisdom of the Inner Planets, and so much more.
