I have become quite interested in fixed stars (and have looked at the website that you refer us to....) In particular, I am interested in the 4 cornerstone stars (Regulus 29 Leo, Fomalhaut 3 Pisces, Aldebaran 10 Gemini, and Antares 10 Sag). There seems to be some debate about what type of orb to apply when deciding the influence from a fixed star. Older doctrine indicates a 5 to 8 degree orb, either opposite or conjunct. The referred website says about 1 degree for major stars, and less for not-major stars. This is my gut, though:If you have an influence from one of the 4 named above, you (at a minimum) have impact from the one that is opposite -- even with Regulus and Fomalhaut (which are about a 4-degree orb apart in opposition). Also: 1 degree orb seems fairly restrictive. What do others think? If 1 degree is the correct orb.... why? What's the reasoning? Are there other fixed stars that have impact?

And... finally... what do people think about what I understand to be the movement of these fixed stars out of Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius (into Gemini, Sagitarrius and Pisces) (although maybe I misunderstand what that's about......)
