Carolyn, An amateur astronomer, who has a computer program that shows the exact location of everything in the sky, showed me what the sky looked like at the time and date of my birth. When the sun came over the horizon that day, it passed through the constellation of Taurus. But according to astrology, I'm a Gemini - June 6. Then my friend showed me that at one time, like about 700 or 800 years ago, that indeed the sun passed through the constellation of Gemini when it rose on June 6. Using this program, he Showed me, where the sun and the planets were on the elliptic, for my birthday the year I was born or any year in the past. I think this is related somehow to your discussion of moving one degree every 72 years although I'm not real clear about it. My main question is, if the sun was in Taurus when I was born, why am I a Gemini?
