The Crow: The movie is very "Scorpio;" the Crow and Eric Draven are symbolic of Death which is a Scorpio analogy; Death is already dead, so it is invincible while still being tangible, Scorpio being the beginning and end of biological life because Scorpio initiates the aura (and molecule) by binding light. The engagement ring and the young girl (Sarah) are Sagittarius analogies, both of them symbolizing the aura, a gold ring being fashioned of gold which is symbolic of light (The Hobbit uses the same symbolism). She wears a Sagittarius symbolic choker with a five-pointed star hanging from it indicating that she is somthing cooked up by Leo and Scorpio (five is the decimal sequence number for Scorpio and Leo is the fifth sign). Scorpio symbolizes the idea of the initiative behind manifest fate and karma because Sagittarius symbolizes any environment and Scorpio fashions Sagittarius. Death is invinsible, though it can be cut down to its proper place in nature, and human nature is what does that better than just about anything known to human nature (potentially) by virtue of the fact that we solve problems we encounter while walking the golden road in Sagittarius from the perspective of Pisces (who "walks"); fate's initiative (Taurus/Scorpio) sends problems our way. Martial arts in general are Scorpio activities because Mars - a dead planet - rules Scorpio. Memories are Sagittarius phenomena, being integral with the human aura where psychics claim to see dream imagery. The idea of burning down old buildings cross-references with The Tower which is the Mars trump in the tradition of tarot, and Mars rules Scorpio. Both Scorpio and Sagittarius are involved in the creation and presentation of imagery, whether real or only in a dream (Scorpio fashions molecules from Virgo symbolic atoms). Taurus is hinted at in the scenes where rings are shot out of a shotgun because Taurus symbolizes the initiative behind spirit (the base whirling or "spiraling" vibrational energy behind reality and even complete unreality), and it's spirit that sends dreams (rings) your way to be dreamed, or to cause orgasm when so many dreams are sent that all they do is cause ecstacy (explosion). Taurus only sends dreams that have already been made in other dimensions, thus the shopping and investment analogy associated with Taurus. Scorpio is the primordial thief, so Eric steals his guitar. Why does Death laugh before killing someone? It's because death, orgasm, and fate are "cosmic jokes," a joke being a Taurus/Scorpio analogy, and the tangible hand of fate in Scorpio plays the hangman for Taurus; a noose is a Sagittarius analogy fashioned by Scorpio and wielded by Leo (like the girl's choker). Scorpio "puts a smile on your face" because it is the primordial orgasmic "lightning strike." Shelley Webster is a Taurus character, and this is hinted at in the scene where she is up in the Gemini symbolic attic with all of those "stars" (candles), roof-tops, attics and pediments all being heavenly Gemini analogies, and Eric is loving her while standing on a Sagittarius symbolic ladder. This movie symbolizes Taurus and Scorpio mated up, both in life and in the after life. Taurus is love's veiled initiative, and Scorpio is the initiative behind the intuitive behavior associated with sexual expression and response, the behavior associated with occult disciplines being very similar to the behaviors associated with sexuality in that they must become spontaneous expressions that channel emotional power (like when playing a musical instrument, you must express emotion to "make music.") This whole movie could symbolize the onset of puberty for young Sarah because she "becomes a woman" by the end of the film when she becomes identified with a Gemini symbolic roof at the end of the film, and puberty is when the putrifaction of life begins in hearnest because the energy field of the body lights up more strongly, and a girl begins to glow with sexuality and attract the boys. Pimples, which often appear at adolescence, are the result of the neurotic body's enhanced ability to process toxins and bacteria out of the deadly-orgone-dominated flesh. The bad guys that get killed are the "pimples" in the film that show up after puberty to cause trouble for Mr. Scorpio in his work to make certain that the adolescent body he lives in is kept up to code, and he can marry Miss Taurus, only Mr. Scorpio shows up later to "pop off" all of the bad pimples. Scorpio is much associated with the process of putrifaction, both physically and spiritually. Pimple popping becomes an emotional expression with its own brand of "sexual" satisfaction after the discipline is practiced for a while, so Scorpio rules over that activity too. The liver, which processes toxins, is a Scorpio organ and is even located similarly in the body to how Scorpio is located in the alchemical tree. To be magical, one must keep the body clean and fresh. (052302)
