When I read about astrology one of the things to note is what sign a planet is in. I've never read anything about what sign the earth is in. If Mercury is in Scorpio and Venus in Capricorn, etc wouldn't the earth be in a sign as well? Can you tell me why this is never mentioned and/or point me to literature that explains why this is so? Thank you.
This is a great question. On Earth we are earth-based observers and Earth is the starting place for investigating our relationship with the sky. That's why we don't place Earth on a chart that maps the sky from the Earth. One way to look at it is we are traveling around the Sun. So if from Earth the Sun appears in the sign of Sagittarius, then Earth is in the opposite part of the sky. But again this is only based on our reference point. If we were on Mars then the placement of all the planets would be observed from a completely different reference point. Shamanic Astrology places the emphasis on our relationship with the sky as Earth-based observers. Hope this helps to answer your question.

Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first Full Moon after Spring Equinox. In 2002 the Full Moon after Spring Equinox was Thursday Mar 28, so Easter was on Sunday Mar 31. Passover always begins on the Full Moon after Spring Equinox.
