Creator of Shamanic Astrology Launches New Radio Show
PORTLAND, OR (November 17, 2006) – Beginning December 1, 2006, Daniel Giamario, Shamanic Astrologer, will host an Internet radio show every Friday at 1 pm PST on the 7th Wave Network (www. 7thwavenetwork.com ).
The show, entitled Shamanic Astrology with Daniel Giamario, will include Giamario’s teachings and his commentary on a weekly theme or current event, as well as guests and call-ins.
“The objective is to make available to a greater audience the power and depth of Shamanic Astrology and the practical application in people’s lives today of what this type of astrology offers,” says Giamario. “If you have always believed that astrology could be something deeper and more useful than sun-sign astrology, then this show is for you.”
Giamario’s Shamanic Astrology teachings originated twenty years ago and evolved into a school, which has graduated thirty-six practitioners of this blend of astrology, archetypal mythology, and shamanic practices of consciously engaging with the natural rhythm and cycles of land and sky.
The “as above, so below” philosophy of the school and its key concepts will be discussed, including the position that Shamanic Astrology is not deterministic or causal and that the nature of the energies of different planetary cycles is neither good nor bad.
“The show is intended to be entertaining, educational, and inspiring, and to open people’s minds. I believe that the time has come for this deeper take on astrology to be more generally available,” offers Giamario.
