The June Solstice, the longest day of light in the Northern Hemisphere and the shortest day of light in the Southern Hemisphere is a portal beyond normal time.
The term “Solstice” literally means “Sun Stands Still” which it what it does for 3 consecutive days, creating a “still point”— a portal for information and new creation coming in from our life-giving Sun.
In ancient times this was a sacred time for ceremony to honor this Solar gateway, the arrival of new archetypal energy, set new intensions, gain new awareness and release what is no longer useful to be composted.
