A Rare Morning Sky and Heliocentric Neptune

By Daniel Giamario

FACEBOOK JUNE 6, 2022

Today’s beautiful morning sky alignment,  containing all five visible planets, has something unusual and extraordinary about it.  Namely, all five planets are in their natural order: Mercury—Venus—Mars—Jupiter—Saturn.  The last time this alignment happened was in December 2004; now, nearly 20 years later, the gap is visibly smaller between Mercury and Saturn.  We will have to wait until 2040 to see this ordered arrangement once more in the morning sky.

The entire lineup is separated by only 91degrees.  This is now their tightest grouping, visible in just over a quarter of the sky.

Saturn     25Aquarius15     magnitude +0.8   near the tail of the Goatfish

Jupiter     04Aries34           magnitude -2.3     under Pegasus and above Cetus

Mars         09Aries07          magnitude +0.7     under Pegasus and above Cetus

Venus       10Taurus26        magnitude -3.9     near Hamal in the Ram

Mercury   26Taurus27        magnitude +1.0    conjunct Algol and approaching the Pleiades

You will have a chance to witness this all of June, with the waning crescent Moon joining them, beginning with Saturn on June 18th, and ending with Mercury on June 27th.  By then, the grouping will stretch out to cover over 130 degrees.  These days early this week are the closest grouping, just over a quarter of the sky.  Take advantage, if you can, this week to view this spectacle in the sky.

Jupiter’s heliocentric conjunction with Neptune

I have recently speculated that the April 12th Jupiter/Neptune conjunction at 23Pisces58 was the “seed point” for the next 166 years, relative to the expansion of Neptune in its home sign: CLICK HERE Over the course of my 52 years of astrological practice I have seldom been much interested in heliocentric charts (a chart with the Sun at the center).  However, the heliocentric chart of the Jupiter/Neptune conjunction has rekindled an interest, since it turns out that Monday June 6th is the exact conjunction at 23Pisces24.  I am sensing that global outer planet configurations are worthy of a heliocentric inquiry, encompassing the entire solar system.  Therefore, even though Jupiter is now well beyond its conjunction with Neptune that took place back on April 12th, and will not return to 23Pisces for another 12 years, this heliocentric conjunction, at the same 23rd degree, indicates that most everything else in 2022 is held in the larger context of this greatly expanded Neptune in Pisces time-frame.

This is good news, considering all the really intense middle world and underworld activations that are currently taking place.  I believe this provides an easier access to the celestial transmissions from the spiritual realms that are now available to those who open to them.  For myself, I invite the guidance and support of the Guardian Host of the Emerald Order that upholds and aligns with the Law of One.

Saturn Stations Retrograde June 4/5, 2022

The ringed planet Saturn makes its annual station retrograde point June 4/5 at 25°15’ Aquarius.  Anytime a planet stations retrograde (or direct), it is not a one-day affair and can take about 2 days to complete the standstill point before moving in the other direction.  This will be the third year (and last year) in a row its station retrograde point takes place in the sign of Aquarius.  Next year, Saturn will go right into Pisces to stay for almost three years.

A retrograde motion for a planet or other celestial body is an “appearance” of the planet moving backwards against the backdrop of the stars.  In Saturn’s case, this is due to Earth catching up with Saturn in its orbit.  Saturn will continue to brighten faster after this point, though not all that much.  But it will be more prominent to see in the sky and quicken its pace to finally be seen in the late evening sky by July and mid-evening by August.

Saturn represents our middle world with all its laws, structures, relationships, resources, systems and forms along with the concept of human time.  Saturn assists us in building our future by laying down a new foundation and “operating manual” that is in harmony with humanity.

Since it is working with the sign of Aquarius, it is about applications of the Aquarian themes such as new technologies, approaches to consciousness and its expansion, social justice and laws that provide greater equality and a greater awareness of humanitarianism and the need for all to contribute in a meaningful and difference-making way.

Retrograde motion for Saturn will be to place emphasis on the Saturnian initiation in that area of the sky in which it traces back and forth.  Saturn stays retrograde through October 22/23, 2022 and all the way back to 18°35’ Aquarius.  That means that the degrees of 18-25+ Aquarius will experience two more transits of Saturn.

This area of the sky activates the stars of the Goat-Fish constellation’s tail.  Nashira and Deneb Algedi are the two stars of prominence here along with the outstretched arm of the Water-Bearer pouring the infinite cosmic waters down to Earth.  This is the area that Jupiter activated in 2021, especially in the Sept-Dec period.  Saturn is helping to solidify the framework uncovered by Jupiter at that time as it relates to Aquarian archetypal themes.

Nashira and Deneb Algedi connect all of humanity to the transitional waters of our era.  Between the Earth and Water, Sky and Land.  It is Saturn assisting us in building a container for an emergence and expansion of consciousness.  But it is one that isn’t about any bypass to ascension but a genuine cosmic temple within ourselves, recognizing we are all one people when seen from the sky.

Mercury Direct and Five Planets in the Morning Sky

By Daniel Giamario

FACEBOOK JUNE 1, 2022

At 1:00AM PDT on Friday Morning June 3rd, Mercury is stationary direct at 26Taurus05.  About 16degrees ahead of the Sun, Mercury joins Saturn, Jupiter, Mars and Venus as visible morning sky planets, a rather rare occurrence, not to be missed.

The stationary direct rise of Mercury in the morning sky completes the 120 day synodic overstory of Mercury highlighting Capricorn, which began back on February 3rd. This also signals the start of a new synodic overstory that will last until October 2nd.   Our school uses the Stationary direct point to begin a new Mercury cycle, rather than the Sun/Mercury retrograde conjunction, following an ancient Babylonian technique and our own naked visibility criterion.

I have received many reports from friends and clients about the great challenges they faced during this past Mercury retrograde.  In my experience, Mercury retrogrades are usually more difficult for those accustomed to contemporary high-speed left-brain linear logical lives, when Mercury retrograde is in Earth or Air signs.  All three 2022 synodic overstories are in Earth signs.  The next one will begin October 2nd, 2022 featuring Virgo.

Our usual advice for navigating Mercury retrogrades in Earth or Air signs is to not mind the usual breakdown in logic, the practical, and especially technology.  Instead, relax, take it easy, and do more inner work, and utilization of right-brain processes such as a more spontaneous, in the moment approach, without attachment to results or progress, and with more introspection.

Now, with Mercury stationary direct, Mercury begins its powerful morning star Apollonian expression.  This is the time when Mercury enthusiastically embraces rebirth into a full speed ahead Taurean expression.  This Apollonian phase in Taurus extends to its movement into Gemini on June 13th.  Maximum morning star elongation will occur June 16th just after entering Gemini.

This is now the time to put the retrograde behind us.  The joy and pleasure of the Mercury function in Taurus can be savored and enjoyed.  Take the time to slowly and thoroughly masticate what you perceive, cognize and communicate about.  The mind can be an organ of epicurean delight.  Possibly more than any other Mercury cycle phase, this time is when thoughts can be directly experienced as something tangible; the time when thoughts are things-with smell, taste, touch etc.  My suggestion is to make this a pleasurable experience, to be enjoyed as long as possible, in the present moment.  It’s even better should you have Mercury in Taurus or are in a Mercury synodic return.  Learn more about the Mercury cycle here: https://shamanicastrology.org/register-for-online-courses/living-wisdom-of-the-inner-planets-online-course/

SAMS Graduate’s Visit to Sacred Sites in Ireland

Our new Foundational graduate, Florence Boissenin, from Switzerland, recently journeyed to the sacred sites Western Ireland.  Here is an account she shared with me of her journey.  In the future, we look forward to featuring more journeys like this.

Hi Daniel,

Kilclooney Main Dolmen – whale side

Here some of the better pictures I took in Ireland. I took many of the Kilclooney dolmen alignment because the energy there was quite amazing. It activated my kundalini energy and I felt this site used to be a ‘love school’, teaching people how to use their sexual energy. The place still holds this knowledge. The three parts of the alignment represent the vagina, yoni and cervix. To me it was totally clear and I could feel it in my own body, even from about a mile away.

Mount Erigal a bit further north in Donegal is a sacred mountain, and the stone circle, which is right next to Donegal airport, is aligned to it, as is visible from the picture. The Drumanone dolmen cap stone, which is HUGE (one of the biggest ones in Ireland), has collapsed half way and people put an iron bar inside to keep it from collapsing further. It is still holding very much Love energy, a very sweet Being, to my sensitivity, right next to a railway line. And the Pulnabrone dolmen, which is a tourist attraction, has also collapsed and been put back into place but somewhat moved from its original positioning in the process. It felt to me like a lot of it is missing/different from its original self. It is also surrounded by a kind of barrier to keep the tourists from degrading it, I guess, and people are coming by all the time, so it was not so easy to really feel it up close.

Donegal Airport Circle with Erigal closer

You can see from the pictures how excellent the weather was most of the time, except for Drumanone, where it was a rainy day. I went to Carrowkeel after Drumanone, so it was a rather grey day too when I went there and I didn’t take any pictures. I went further than the cairns and felt like I was in a totally different world, like I was going to get lost and never come back. It is quite a magical place. The weather was grey and rainy, but for a moment there was sun, and it was amazing because the instant I stepped back into my car, the rain started to come down like crazy, as if it had held back so I could enjoy the place for two hours undisturbed by the elements 🙂

I also have some pictures of Carrowmore, but they are similar to ones ‘everybody’ has already so I did not include them. The huge dolmen at Carrowmore which is inclosed in the reconstructed cairn holds extremely strong healing energy, to my sensitivity. I was buzzing all over my body while touching it. But it’s such a touristic place that there are always people coming by and so I didn’t feel like staying there too long. But I love Carrowmore too, there are lots of little ‘mushroom’-like ‘mini-dolmens’ and stone circles which always seemed to say hello to me every time I drove by (I drove by there a lot because I loved the drive from Carrowmore to Strandhill which passes at the bottom of Knocknarae.

Poulnabrone Dolmen

Knowcknarae is such an amazing mountain, at the centre of this whole sacred landscape which comprises the whole Sligo Bay for miles around, with all the mountain tops and cairns playing a part. Here too there was an line awakening my kundalini energy between the cairn at the top of Knocknarae and the end of Benbulben towards the Ocean, Benbulben being the masculine pole and Knocknarae the feminine one. I felt it very strongly every time I crossed it while driving.

In a nutshell, those are my impressions of the sacred landscape of Ireland I visited during this trip. Because I so loved it in the Sligo area and by the Ocean, I decided to change my plans and not drive East to visit Newgrange, Lough Crew and Rathcrogan, for which I had already bought tickets. I will go there next time I get a chance – very soon, I hope! I also realize that, as far as I’m concerned, the weather was so amazing because it made it possible for me to actually see how the megaliths are connecting with the mountain tops. If it had been cloudy, I couldn’t have seen it so clearly. So, as your friend Jack said to me when I told him this, ‘the fairies must have been on my side’. They certainly were 😉 I’m writing all this to you because I think you can understand. Not many people can. So thank you for giving me a chance to share this.

All the very best to you, Florence

Mars-Jupiter Conjunction May 29, 2022

Mars-Jupiter Conjunction May 29, 2022

Mars conjuncts Jupiter 03°19’ Aries on May 29th.  This conjunction is taking place just before the New Moon in Gemini on the 30th, perhaps a pre-echo of the 7-month journey Mars will take in Gemini beginning in late August.  Jupiter is continuing to move away from Neptune in Pisces, which was a big part of that month’s theme.  It will be a beautiful early-morning conjunction to behold in the sky in the parade of planets at that time of day.

The last time Mars and Jupiter got together, they were joined by Pluto and Saturn and it was in March, 2020 at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. This pair gets together about every two years and Mars can bring decisive action into any environment it enters into.  Mars entered Aries on the 24th and this is a natural/resonate sign for Mars, which symbolizes the masculine principle archetype.

In the larger Mars cycle, this is considered Phase 5 of a 26-month long cycle and the last phase before an incubation of the Gemini archetype in late August, setting up a big transit there.

Aries is an archetype that was traditionally seen as the “warrior”, an instinctual, willful and ruggedly independent in any person.  Aries is a defender of the cause, mission and purpose and is “all-in” to the mission.  In this combination of Mars and Jupiter, the Aries archetypal expression is expanded, amplified and taken to a new level.  It can help with opportunities to really “move the energy” in life and get things accomplished.  But at the same time, this could increase a counterweight against the moving energy.

Reading this, if you were born with any personal points/planets in the early degrees of Aries, you are in a Jupiter initiation (transit/cycle) and Mars is one of the highlights of this initiation.  Mars, as a strong activator itself, could add more power and restlessness in the initiation as well as out in humanity in general.

Humanity has been experiencing a rapid shift in the Turning of an Age and the masculine is no exception to this.  As the masculine consciousness evolves (within all of us), there is also the resistance and attachment to what was once thought as “normal” in the world, especially with violence.  This is an opportunity to see a healthier and more mature Aries masculine show up, one that works constructively and is helpful in support of humanity and the Earth, rather than as a destroyer.
