This intensive is designed to bring you personally transformative experiences in understanding your life path as well as the significant initiation cycles of your life and how best to participate with them. Using drama, movement, astrological mandala art, journeying, and small group interaction we cover all types of learning styles to deepen our relationship and understanding of these mysteries.

This Intensive is for anyone interested in the astrological mysteries as a transformational tool as well as for those who are interested in reading charts and cycles from the Shamanic Astrology perspective.

Our Topics for Discussion and Participation include the following:

• Maturation and Responsibility: Saturn Complexes and Return Cycles

• Dark Night of the Soul: Pluto and Chiron Initiations, Complexes and the Pluto square Pluto/Pluto Generations
• The Lunar Nodes and what is the intent of their initiation
• The Venus, Mars, Vesta (asteroid) and Mercury Return points on the Shamanic Timeline

During this class, we will cover with lecture, activities and astrodrama for all of these initiations and astrological processes. We will get into detail about where all of us on the Shamanic Timeline by looking at our astrology charts and determining from the ephemeris, how to calculate a planetary transit/cycle for the present, past and future. There will be a power point presentation showing visuals for all of this material.

Astrodrama is a method we’ve been using to help students understand the archetypes and initiations on a body and soul level. It provides a window to experience the archetypes and planets that cannot be done through lecture alone.

Cayelin Castell will be leading a guided journey through the three worlds: Celestial/Above, Middle/Real, Under/Lower worlds

The planetary complexes and cycles will be covered from a personal and global/cosmic perspective. There will be an assortment of handouts to support your understanding and development as a shamanic astrologer.

We will also be creating a vision board that will focus on either on where you are on the Timeline or a planetary complex you are desiring to understand more fully. We will also be sharing experiences from an astrological point of view regarding where a person is on the Shamanic Timeline of life.

In addition, we will spend at least one night out under the stars exploring the night sky. Venus, Mercury, Jupiter and Mars will be prominent during this time in the evening sky while Saturn will be visible in the early morning before sunrise and visibly conjunct the Moon on the morning of January 16th.

There may also be an opportunity to hold a group ceremony during the event.

Requirements for this Entry Level Shamanic Astrology Intensive:

• An initial Shamanic Astrology reading with a certified Shamanic Astrologer

• A current Ephemeris is a MUST for this class. Ideally it covers 1900-2050 or 2100 (you might have to buy two). The American Ephemeris for the 20th Century 1900 to 2000 midnight edition and the 21st Century 2000 to 2050 midnight edition or the 21st Century 2000 to 2100 by Neil F. Michelsen is the highly recommended and may be available through your local bookstore or you can order direct from ACS (Astro Communications). Cayelin has extra brand new copies available for purchase and you can save the shipping cost. If you are interested call or email Cayelin so she can save a set for you.

The following suggestions are not required but extremely helpful (though not required).

Directions to Gael’s: From I-10 take Interstate I-19 toward Green Valley and Nogales. Stay on I-19 for about 15 kilometers until you get to Sahuarita Road; exit number 75. Turn right onto Sahuarita Road and follow until the road T’s into Mission Road. The name “Sahuarita Road” becomes “Helmet Peak Road” by the time you get to Mission Road. Turn right on Mission Road and go 1.8 miles. Gael’s driveway will be on the left as in the picture. You will take a left into her driveway shortly after you cross the bridge over the arroyo.
